Alverde® 240 SC with metaflumizone is a plant protection Insecticide to combat colorado beetle, moths
Alverde® 240 SC causes blocking of nerve impulses in the sodium channels of the nerve cells of the insects, as a result of which they receive convulsions and die. Insects stop feeding within 4 hours after treatment and die within 12 hours.
Use:
– Start using at the first signs of Colorado beetle presence, after larvae have hatched. This will help you avoid any damages the adult forms may cause;
– When used as specified, Alverde will help control the whole generation of insect pests using only a single treatment;
– For caterpillar control, apply Alverde treatments after larvae have hatched from the eggs;
– Use terrestrial spraying equipment to apply Alverde treatments;
– The volume of solution is adjusted to the type of equipment used – 600 to 1000 l per ha;
– Withholding period: at least 3 days after the last treatment.
- Potatoes: Colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa decemline) – 20 ml / 1000 m2 ( It is applied to potatoes of field production up to a phase tuber formation – tubers reach 60-70% ofyour final weight.)
- Tomatoes: Mining moth (Tuta absolute) – 0.1% or 100 ml / 1000 m2
Maximum number of applications: 2 per season.
- Interval between treatments: 7-10 days
- Application technique: ground equipment.
- Quarantine period: 14 days for potatoes, 3 days for tomatoes.
Mechanism of action:
Preparation of the working solution:
- before treatment, check the cleanliness and serviceability of the sprayer and nozzles;
- the consumption of working solution is determined;
- the sprayer tank is filled from 1/2 to 2/3 with water;
- the calculated amount of product is poured into the tank and mixed; the tank is make up to the brim with water and stir until the working solution is completely homogenized;
- start spraying, considering that it is very important to be good and even spraying the leaf mass;
- during spraying, the working solution must be constantly stirred through mechanical stirrer or return part of the solution back to the tank;
- after interruptions, the solution must be mixed thoroughly again;
Miscibility: Alverde® 240 SC is miscible with most of the fungicides used in practice, but is it is desirable to make a miscibility test in advance in a separate vessel.
