Stomp Aqua with pendimethalin is a selective herbicide for using in a number of crops. Stomp Aqua is the only non-staining, low dose pendimethalin for effective weed control.

Mechanism of action :
Stomp Aqua is the latest, unique formulation developed by BASF in the field of soil herbicides. The active substance is enclosed in microcapsules that prevent its deactivation and destruction in dry conditions. When optimal soil moisture occurs, the product is activated, the capsules dissolve and slowly and gradually release the active substance into the soil.

Spreading in the surface 2-3 cm layer of the soil, Stomp Aqua forms a stable herbicidal film. Passing through this film, emerging weeds come into contact with the active substance, absorb part of it and die. Thanks to its special formulation of microcapsules, Stomp Aqua provides good results even in poor tillage, dry conditions and the presence of plant residues. The capsules do not allow losses of the active substance in case of poor tillage, dry conditions and the presence of plant residues. Recommendations for use:

1. Working solution

20 - 30 l/ 1000 m2.

• Maximum individual dose:

Maize 3.3 litres per hectare
All other crops 2.9 litres per hectare

• MINIMUM USES
  Sorghum - 260 ml / 1000 m2
  Rice - 200-250 ml / 1000 m2, before germination or after germination with 2-3 dissolved leaves and before flooding the rice field

List of crops:

Quarantine period (days): 60 days for corn, onions, sunflowers; 75 days for coriander; 40 days for chickpeas; not required for cotton, tobacco, potatoes, wheat, barley, rye, triticale, beans, peas, soybeans, apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, apricots, oranges, lemons, pomelo, grapefruit, tree nurseries, ornamental trees, strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, salads, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, carrots, artichokes, vines; 90 days for rice, sorghum for silage and green fodder; 120 days for grain sorghum
Note: Do not use vine leaves for food.

2. Application temperature range

• Do not treat at temperatures above 30 °C due to strong evaporation of the working solution.

3. Mobility and photostability

• Stomp Aqua shows good efficacy on poorly structured soils, but for full expression of its herbicidal activity it is recommended to apply it on well-treated soils.

• Stomp Aqua is extremely photostable, so it does not need to be incorporated.

• It binds quickly to soil particles, resulting in low vertical movement and does not wash into soil horizons.

• Requires minimal rainfall to activate.

4. Miscibility with other RDPs

• Stomp Aqua can be mixed with other herbicides, but due to the different hardness and temperature of the water, it is recommended to do a preliminary test for miscibility.

5. Influence of the product in the crop rotation

• There is no negative consequence for the following crops in case of normal vegetation.

• If the treated field fails in the same place, sunflower can be sown after tilling the soil to a depth of 15 cm or corn by direct sowing without tillage

6. Not recommended:

• Apply to emerged weeds after phase (cotyledon/sprout)
