VELUM PRIME with fluopiram has local and systemic action. Preventive use of the product is recommended. The active substance fluopyram belongs to a new class of chemical compounds pyridyl-ethyl-benzamides from the group of SDHI inhibitors. It penetrates the plant through the root system and moves systematically on the xylem (acropetally), does not move downwards. The nematicidal effect is most pronounced against infectious stage J2 (juvenile second age) of nematodes. In addition to the nematicidal effect, VELUM PRIME also shows high efficacy against the causative agents of powdery mildew in crops of the pumpkin and potato family.
